For students seeking to enjoy the full range of the college experience in an environment conducive to academic success, Landmark has the resources to offer the best of both worlds. With well-insulated rooms to minimize noise, a private Zen garden, study lounges, and conference centers, our residents can enjoy a little peace and quiet from time to time without having to sacrifice the camaraderie of the UMD residence halls. From the Social Courtyard, equipped with grilling stations and bocce ball court, as well as our gaming and club rooms, making friends will be as easy as walking out your door! Our housing facility supports a student-focused and community environment.

Landmark has bragging rights as having one of the best locations for student apartments in College Park, MD. We are located directly across the street from the UMD campus and adjacent to retail on Baltimore Avenue. It’s always a quick walk to shops, food, social activities, and campus resources. Because our community is so close to campus, most residents choose to walk or ride their bikes to class. But for those that just have to bring their vehicle, we have parking available for lease in our secure garage.
A Responsive Management Team
We guarantee a 24/7 commitment to our residents. From our professional management staff and friendly student representatives to our licensed maintenance team, we will always have someone available to assist residents. We strive to complete all maintenance requests within 24 hours. Most maintenance requests are free of charge. Residents can easily submit a maintenance request using the online resident portal or by calling the leasing office during regular office hours. We will also have on-call Community Assistants, who will be the first responders to any after-hours maintenance emergencies.
A Simple Leasing Process
Our application and lease process is simple and tailored to today’s savvy student and parent. The lease process may be done in the office or entirely online. Starting with the application, each resident must pass a background check. After signing a lease, a guarantor (usually a parent) of each student will need to sign the Guaranty Agreement, which is then attached to the completed lease. Our leases are by-the-bed, which means that all residents are individually responsible for his or her own payment. By designing the leasing process this way, we promote a safe and responsible community for residents and their guests. For students who are new to the area or don’t have roommates chosen, we can assist in matching roommates using our highly successful roommate matching questionnaire.
